Pay Tax and Water Bills by Electronic Check

FREE Electronic Payment Options

NO SERVICE FEES for electronic payments made from your checking or savings account. 
Payments made after 7 p.m. will be credited the next business day. 

What you will need to process your payment:

  • Parcel ID for Tax payment OR  Bill# for Water payment 
  • Bank Routing number
  • Savings or checking Account number

BRING YOUR ENTIRE BILL with you in order to receive a receipt.  We only accept cash or check at the Treasurer's office. 

A DROP BOX is located at the main doors of the Civic Center Building. Clearly label your correspondence ATTN: Treasurer.  Payments received after 4:30 p.m. will be credited for the next business day.

YOU CAN ALSO PAY TAXES ONLY BY VISITING ANY COMERICA BRANCH IN MACOMB COUNTY.  NOTE: Partial payments are not accepted and you must present your entire bill.  Make checks payable to "Clinton Township Treasurer."

 PAYMENT BY CHECK is accepted only as a conditional payment.  If not honored by the bank, taxes remain unpaid and are subject to penalties and/or interest.  The Township will also assess a $25.00 fee each time a check is returned to us unpaid.

Pay By U.S. Mail

TAX BILL PAYMENT

Write your Parcel ID number on your tax payment check, made payable to "Clinton Township Treasurer" and mail to 40700 Romeo Plank Road, Clinton Township MI 48038. 

If a receipted copy is desired, you must send the entire bill and enclose a self-addressed, stamped return envelope with your check. 

The Township accepts the U.S. Postmarked date when determining timely payments.

Mail to our lockbox address using the envelope that is enclosed with your bill.  Be sure to add proper postage.
