Additional Information

Registration-You can still register for our summer programs even after they have started - if they are not at maximum capacity.  Please remember that you will not be able to start the program on a field trip day or until the next business day .

Late Parent - If a parent drops a child off before the program starts or is late to pick the child up, additional fees may be incurred.  If you would like more information on this policy, please see the FAQ page.

Dangerous Weather - When there is threatening weather, we have someone in the office checking both the weather channel and internet web sites, to determine if camp should be cancelled or suspended at sites.  If we determine that camp needs to be cancelled, we will follow emergency contact procedures.  For children that are allowed to come and go on their own, we will make phone calls and then release them.

  • If lightning is visible or a tornado warning has been issued, the outdoor programs must close. At all other sites, this will require immediate suspension of outdoor activities.
  • Programs may resume if the weather permits.

Medication - Your child may attend our program during the time that they have to take medicine but, they must be able to take the medication on their own or a family member will have to come to the site and give the child the medication.  If a participant needs to carry something with them (inhaler, insulin, etc) the staff may secure the medication until it is time for it to be self-administered.

Peanut Free - Our Steiner Community Building and all of our programs are Peanut Free Zones.  If you bring any snacks, please make sure that they comply with this policy.

Field Trip - When your child attends a field trip, they will attend with their sites and our staff.  For your childs safety , parents are not allowed to attend the field trips (exceptions are Ultimate Field Day, Summer Farewell Talent Show and some Preschool trips).

Americans with Disabilities Act - We will make reasonable accommodations so that participants with disabilities may participate in many of the programs and services that we offer.  Please notify the office when signing up for a program, so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
