The Records Division is located at 37985 Groesbeck at the Police Department. The hours are 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The phone number is (586) 493-7810 and the fax number is (586) 493-7809.

Police reports are available after seventy-two (72) business hours at the Police Records Division.  Most  incident reports are copied for a fee of $5.00 for the first two pages and $1.00 for every page thereafter.  Accident reports are copied for $15.00 with the exception of Private Property Accidents which are copied for $3.00 each.  Reports are generally available only to those involved in the report. Others must request a copy of the report under Freedom of Information. This process could take an additional five business days. Freedom of Information requests can be mailed or faxed, in addition to being requested in person.

Dog licenses are available from the Macomb County Animal Shelter located at 21417 Dunham Road, Clinton Township, MI 48036. They can be contacted at (586) 469-5115.

A permit to purchase a handgun is available during normal business hours. The permit is valid for ten days.

An application kit to carry a concealed weapon is available for pickup during normal business hours at the Records Division.
