The Planning Commission typically meets the second and fourth Thursdays of each month to hold regular meetings. The Commission meetings are open to the public and are at 6:30 p.m. in the Township Board Chambers at the Civic Center.  The Planning Commissioners are appointed by the Township Board of Trustees after recommendation by the Township Supervisor. They each serve 3 year terms and can be re-appointed. State enabling legislation allows for a total of 9 members on the Planning commission, one of which must be a Township Board member.

The Zoning Board of Appeals typically meets the third Wednesday of each month to consider variance requests. The meetings are open to the public and ar at 6:30 p.m. in the Township Board Chambers at the Civic Center.  Members of the Board of Appeals are appointed by the Township Board of Trustees after recommendation by the Township Supervisor. They each serve 3 year terms and can be re-appointed.
