Dara's Speech:
Good morning. My name is Dara Brooks. I am here at this special occasion to welcome you on behalf of the Clinton Township Cultural Diversity Committee. The Diversity Committee was formed under the direction of Township Supervisor Bob Cannon back in 1998 when he was a trustee. The committee’s purpose is to help bring us together as one community. Our township is rich with cultural traditions and heritage. Our goal is to take the mystery out of those traditions and heritage and help us to become one larger family community. The efforts of the Yasu Sister Committees is a glowing example of just that. So, on behalf of Committee President Renee Arrington – Johnson and the entire Clinton Township Diversity Committee, we welcome you and wish you a joyous visit here in our community.
