General Information
The voters in the Chippewa Valley School system will have a school election on February 23, 2010.  The deadline to register is January 25, 2010 so if you are not registered or are unsure if you are registered, please call the Election's Department at (586) 723-8138.

Absentee Voter Application

ATTENTION ALL SENIORS:

DO YOU WANT TO BE PLACED ON A PERMANENT LIST TO AUTOMATICALLY RECEIVE APPLICATIONS FOR ABSENT VOTER BALLOTS FOR ALL FUTURE ELECTIONS?

By law, the Township Clerk's Office can no longer mail out applications for absent voter ballots to registered voters 60 years of age and older.  Any registered voter who is 60 years of age or older or any voter who is otherwise eligible to receive an absent voter ballot for each Election, must request to be placed on the Township Clerk's Office permanent list to automatically receive applications for all future Elections.  You can be placed on this permanent list by doing one of the following:

Stop at the Elections Division at the Township Civic Center or Contact the Township Elections Division by phone at (586) 723-8138. 

The deadline for absentee ballot application by mail is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2009. If you have any other questions concerning your eligibility to vote, please contact the Office of Elections at (586) 723-8138.

After-Hours Drop Box

The Township Treasurer, Clerk, and Water & Sewer Department's, are offering the convenience to the residents and businesses of an after hours drop box. This drop box is placed directly in front of the center administration building front doorway entrance at the Civic Center Complex at 40700 Romeo Plank Road. This will provide an after hours method of delivering tax payments, water bill payments, and absentee ballots for the township run elections.

Please label your correspondence clearly so the information is delivered to the proper office.
