|Thanksgiving Trash Service Changes - Monday, November 18, 2013|
For the week of Thanksgiving, Thursday trash pickup will be moved to Friday & Friday trash pickup will be moved to Saturday. Normal trash pickup days will resume the first week of December.

|Fire Department Open House - Tuesday, September 24, 2013|
The Clinton Township Department of Fire-Rescue-EMS will be commemorating Fire Prevention Week with their Annual Open House to be held on Sunday, October 6, 2013. The public event will be located at Fire Headquarters, 42601 Romeo Plank Rd., and will run from noon until 3 p.m. A pre-event ceremony, beginning at 11:30 a.m. will be held to distribute awards to selected elementary school students and to present citations to members of the community. Join the firefighters and staff for demonstrations, displays, and fun activites, including a trip through the smokehouse, a ride with Stan the Magical Fireman, face painting and the firefighters in action using the "Jaws of Life". As a service to the community, personnel will be on-hand to take complimentary blood pressure checks. Free parking, admission, and fire prevention material.

On June 1, 2009, the U.S. Government will implement full requirements of the land and sea phase of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative. The proposed rules require most U.S. citizens entering the United States at sea or land ports to have a passport, passport card, or other travel document approved by the Department of Homeland Security.Children: U.S citizen children under the age of 16 will be able to present the original or copy of their birth certificate, or other proof of U.S. citizenship such as a naturalization certificate or citizenship card.Groups of U.S. citizen children ages 16-18, when traveling with a school or religious group, social organization, or sports team, will be able to enter under adult supervision with originals or copies of their birth certificates or other proof of citizenship.
